May? They already have. Prices have risen from $2.869 at the end of December to $3.19 now locally.

Look at the history of fuel price, does anyone think the price will not go up over time? Fossil fuels are finite.

Ouch! Here comes the media brainwashing us to give the price lords the incentive to do it.

Before you blame big oil for the prices increases, you need to understand the real reason the price is rising. Since our dear leader, Mr. Obama took office the dollar has been losing its value. Why is that, well with the huge bail outs, the out of control spending, the trillions in debt, and the feds printing money like there is no tomorrow, our dollar has lost its value. Our national credit rating has now been down graded to double A, from a triple A rating. Your money simply does not buy as much as it once did. Makes you wish for the good ole days of Bush.

If we use less gas, why does price go up? On the other hand, if we use gas the prices go up. Something wrong here.

Well, there you have it. Big Oil exports three million barrels of fuel per day, straight out of this country.
Mull that over, while you're griping about high gas prices.

This look like a summary of the Gas Buddy 2013 forecast that was posted a few days ago and it reminds me of when I had to write book reports in high school.
Nice summary!

"...may face..." DUH! Unless they move to Venezuela or there is worldwide economic collapse! Prices WILL rise until there are enough viable alternatives.

One oil rep told us that when so called analysts start predicting prices will rise to the public then the industry does it just because there is not a lot of backlash when they do because the media plays it up and the public accepts it because that is all they have been hearing is that it will rise. Shut the analysts down and prices will rise much slower.

If they raise the price when we have excess supply, they will take gas to $10/gallon if there is a shortage

Not going to be happy with rising prices, especially with all the exported fuel lowering our supply 3 MB a day as stated in another article.
