Saudi state oil company hacked leaving 30k computers damaged

GasBuddy Blog -- The Saudi's got hacked. Big time. According to Saudi Aramco, the state run oil company, a cyber attack against its computers back in August damaged some 30,000 computers. The apparent target was bringing down the country's oil and gas production, halting exports of such products from the largest exporter in the world.

According to Reuters, the attack on Saudi Aramco — which supplies a tenth of the world’s oil — failed to disrupt production, but was one of the most destructive hacker strikes against a single business.

“The main target in this attack was to stop the flow of oil and gas to local and international markets and thank God they were not able to achieve their goals,” Abdullah al-Saadan, Aramco’s vice president for...

Just don't let them access external networks and verify what comes in is not malware. We had to feed all our code through a firewall machine to make sure it wasn't malware.

If they can find out where the attack came from, then they can go on from there. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII!
