I would very much enjoy having you post in my new "STATE" ranking topic in the "just for fun" topic section. I hope to attract posters from many states. You can find your Ohio/Buckeye state ranking (which includes all 6 Ohio metro areas + the rest of Ohio) at the following website. . If this is of any interest to you, would love to see you post there on a daily basis. You can also post the total number of Buckeye State members which is found at the beginning of the listing. You may also post you metro area ranking at the same time if you so desire. My topic can be found at: Thanks in advance for your interest. I hope to see you as a frequent poster to this topic.

I agree with: sell a lot of good mileage (small) cars (even if they have to sell them at a loss) or pay the big CAFE fines. That was the intention.

I like your post re the XL pipeline and the Alberta pipeline. Very well thought out.

"There is no difference between any other plug-in hybrid and a Volt that makes any practical difference to the user of the vehicle" That would depend on how you use it. It's designed as a commuter for people that live within 40 miles round trip to work. In that case, it would not need any gas. But, unlike the Leaf, it can go cross country on gas should the owner want to do that. I agree, they are doing a terrible job advertising it properly.
