The bill, which is simply referred to as “House Bill 692”, was brought forward at the Idaho Statehouse on Tuesday, March 20. It calls for Idaho to be on Mountain Standard Time (MST) all year round as of January 1, 2013.

Idaho may abolish daylight saving time

What are your thoughts? As an Idaho transplant, I am all for it.

I have not heard anything recent about this so I suspect it died somewhere along the way.

Hopefully the bill is successful. Then Utah may have a chance of abolishing it also. They should really abolish it at the federal level, instead of just a few states here and there.

Good, they should have done it a long time ago!!! Leave the daylight savings time the same "ALL YEAR ROUND", several other states have already done this.
